Turkish investor Hasan Asik, owner of Izmir-based Asia Prefabrik, plans to build a plant for prefabricated houses and containers for export in Bosnia's municipality of Dubica, the municipal government said.
The construction of the plant, covering an area of 7,000 sq m, is planned to begin in the spring, the Dubica municipal government said in a statement, SeeNews writes.
In December the Turkish investor launched production of prefabricated houses and containers for export in rented premises in Dubica.
Currently the company employs 18 people but it plans to hire an additional 100 workers when the new plant is set up.
Dubica is located in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina.
