Turkish company earns half a billion KM on highway construction in BiH

Highways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid in the last four years 749.3 million KM to foreign companies that have been involved in the construction of the highway. These are companies from the UK, France, Turkey, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria and Croatia.

By far the most money was paid to the Turkish company Cengiz Insaat, i.e. 548 million KM.

The company built the highway section Vlakovo – Tarcin, between Sarajevo and Konjic.

In 2013, it was paid 210 million KM, in 2014 about 281 million, and last year 57 million KM.

The Czech OHL is second on the list with 94 million KM, and Austrian Strabag is third, with about 62 million. Croatian Viadukt has received about 14 million KM, slightly more than the French company Egis International, while Spanish Inocsa earned about 8 million KM.

As published earlier, Highways of the FBiH in the last three years paid 189,323,393 KM to domestic companies engaged in the construction of Corridor 5c.

There are 46 companies on the list of Highways of the FBiH. By far the most money was paid to the company Euroasfalt owned by Hamed Ramic.

This company received 113,403,531 through tenders since 2014, Dnevni Avaz reported.

The company received 93.5 million in 2014, 7 million last year, and 12 million KM this year.

The company Hering, which in this period received 20 million KM, is second on the list, while IPSA gained 15 million.
