Turkish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koc confirmed that his government requires the Bosnian authorities to prevent activities and ban all organizations and institutions for which Ankara believes to have connections with Fethullah Gulen, Islamic scholar who is suspected of being a direct initiator of the failed coup attempt in July, Dnevni Avaz daily reported.
Koc told the daily that Ankara submitted a list of “all organizations and schools” connected with Gulen’s movement FETO, which are operating in BiH.
“In this regard, we now expect concrete action in BiH aimed at disabling operations of these entities,” said Koc repeating accusations of the Turkish authorities that FETO is actually a terrorist organization.
Turkish diplomat warned that the closure of institutions and schools his country considers as terrorists’ support represents a security problem, so he expects everyone else to share this view.
