Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the group of countries with the largest number of emigrants per capita.
According to the latest data from the American Pew Research Center, there were about 244 million migrants around the world in 2015 living and working outside the country, while in 2010 their number was 222 million.
Research of experts of the Center showed that as many as nine countries have lost one-fifth or even more of their population in recent decades.
According to the research, one-third of people born in BiH live abroad.
