An abandoned newborn baby has been found alongside the road in the Belgrade municipality of Rakovica.
A spokesman for the ambulance Nada Macura confirmed that the female infant was found today and was taken to the Belgrade Institute for mother and child.
The baby was spotted by a passer-by who informed the police.
