The French credit insurance group “Coface” has published new list of the 50 largest companies in the Balkans on the basis of turnover.
Five companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina are included in the list, led by BiH Public Enterprise Electric Utility (Elektroprivreda BiH).
Elektroprivreda BiH is the best placed Bosnian company and holds 26th place with a total turnover of 486.9 million Euros.
Compared to last year's list, Elektroprivreda has advanced five positions.
When it comes to other Bosnian companies, Holdina is at 31st place with a total turnover of 435.9 million Euros, while Konzum is at 32nd position with the turnover of 434,6 million Euros.
Bosnian retail chain Bingo is at 34th position with the total turnover amounting to 410.8 million Euros.
Fifth Bosnian company included in the list is Optima Group Banja Luka, which recorded turnover of 359.8 million Euros
The biggest company is Petrol from Slovenia with the turnover of 3.1 billion Euros.
