Italian Claudia Varesi has bought the textile factory “Javor” in Nevesinje. In addition to current 80 workers, the new owner will employ some sixty workers who will sew shirts for the international market.
This company was sold for 300,000 KM (150,000 Euros). The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republika Srpska will provide funding for the training of new workers. Nevesinje municipality will give the space, while the new owner will provide the equipment and material.
Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of RS Petar Djokic visited today the facility, together with new owner Varesi.
Djokic expressed satisfaction that Italian company decided to invest in this very important facility.
