Bosnian authorities say they detained several people in a coordinated police operation that took place simultaneously in four countries, aimed at cracking down on organized crime, human trafficking, money laundering and prostitution. The prosecution office in Bosnia said Friday suspects from Bosnia and Serbia have at least for two years been using poor and young girls from Bosnia, Serbia and Ukraine for prostitution in Austria and Germany. The prosecution office did not say how many were detained in Bosnia but said that arrests were made in Sarajevo and that Serbia had detained three people. Austrian and German authorities were also involved.
