The lifeless body of the Slovenian diver Andrej Beuc (34), who disappeared five days ago, was found today.
The body was found in the murky river Drina around 11:20 a.m. after it was and noticed by the local residents in Kozluk.
Police investigation is underway. Search for the Beuc lasted five days.
Beuc jumped off a bridge into the Drina River as part of “Zvornik summer” competition, and disappeared in the water.
The 34-year-old got into difficulties in the water following the plunge and struggled to keep his head above the surface.
Thousands looked on in horror as the athlete battled for breath before vanishing into the river.
