In addition to this company, the list of the ten biggest exporters from BiH last year includes six other companies from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, two from the Republika Srpska and one from the District Brcko, the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH said.
“Prevent BH” Visoko – Association for the design, development, production and sale of automotive applications is in the second place, followed by “Aluminij” Mostar, “Sisecam Soda” Lukavac and “Alumina” Zvornik.
The top ten exporters of the country last year also include “Global Ispat Coking Industry” Lukavac, Factory for oil production “Bimal” District Brcko, “Cimos TMD” – automotive industry Gradacac, “Borac export-import” Travnik and “Optima group” Banja Luka.
Seven of the largest exporters from Bosnia and Herzegovina are also among the top ten importers in our country.
“Optima Group” is in the first place when it comes to importers. It was founded by Russian “Zarubezhneft” after taking over Oil Refinery Bosanski Brod, Refinery Modrica, and retail network of gas stations “Nestro Petrol”.
“Holdina” Sarajevo, “Global Ispat Coking Industry”, “Prevent” Visoko, “ArcelorMittal” Zenica, “Petrol BH Oil Company” Sarajevo, “Bimal”, “Porsche” Sarajevo, “Aluminij” Mostar and “Cimos” from Gradacac are also on the list of the largest BiH importers for 2016.
Head of Communications of the Indirect Taxation Authority BiH Ratko Kovacevic confirmed for Fena news agency that there was an increase in both imports and exports last year, compared to 2015.
Exports from BiH in 2016 amounted to 9.7 billion KM, while it was 9.07 billion in 2015.
